In the summer of 2008 I was privileged to travel to Lima, Peru, and perform several concerts organized by Gabriel Morales-Bermudez, one of my GWU students. Gabriel recruited some of Peru's best jazz musicians and we played a mix of standards and my originals. It was such a great pleasure and an honor to work with the remarkable musicians heard on this album! We performed at two wonderful clubs, Satchmo Cafe and the Jazz Zone, both in the Miraflores district.

The tracks on this album are from the concert on August 9th at the Jazz Zone. They were recorded directly from the board mix and except for a couple of isolated spots, the balance is quite good and the sound quality excellent. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did playing it!

As a bandleader, his projects have been diverse: the jazz- fusion band Stickman, "chordless" quintet and trio, and his current Hammond organ-driven group.
